Who we are

This site is operated by David Mir Studio (“we,” “us”). It is a portfolio and contact site for creative and technical work. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact form.

Information you give us

When you use the contact form, newsletter signup, or unsubscribe flow, you may provide details such as name, email address, phone number, and message content. We use that information to respond to inquiries, manage newsletter subscriptions you choose, and operate the site. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small set of storage technologies:

• Consent preference — stored in your browser (local storage) so we remember whether you accepted or declined analytics. This preference is not used for advertising.
• Optional analytics (Google Analytics 4) — loaded only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. These cookies (for example _ga and related identifiers) help us understand aggregate traffic, which pages are popular, and how people find the site.
• Form security — the contact form may use Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam. reCAPTCHA is provided by Google and may process technical data under Google’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).

Essential site features (browsing, contacting us, managing your newsletter opt-out) work if you decline analytics.

Your cookie choices

On your first visit we ask for analytics consent. You can Accept or Decline. You can change your mind anytime via Manage cookies in the site footer:

• Turn off analytics — withdraws consent, stops analytics use, and deletes Google Analytics cookies we can remove from this site.
• Reset & ask again — clears your stored preference and shows the banner again.

Analytics storage is denied by default until you Accept (Google Consent Mode).

How we use information

We use information to respond to project inquiries, send updates only if you subscribe, keep the site secure, and—if you consent—measure site usage so we can improve content and navigation. We do not use analytics data to sell personal information or for cross-site advertising on this portfolio.

Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the site, including email delivery, hosting/database services as needed, Google Analytics (only with consent), and Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention

Contact and newsletter records are kept as long as needed to communicate with you and meet legitimate business or legal needs, or until you ask us to delete them where applicable. Analytics data follows Google Analytics retention settings. Consent preferences are stored in your browser for up to about one year, then we ask again.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information you provided, or to opt out of certain data practices. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, use the contact form. You can also control analytics cookies through Manage cookies in the footer.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the revised policy.
